Admission Policy

The nursery is committed to being inclusive and accessible to all families. They promote their services through local community centres and multilingual outreach. They aim to foster a welcoming environment that values diversity and respects all individuals regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, ability, or background.
 
Once a child’s admission is confirmed at Tiny Stars Nursery, a manager or staff member will contact the parent/carer to arrange a start date and induction, guided by the nursery’s Settling In Policy.
 
Waiting List Management:
 

1. If no places are available, the parent/carer will be informed and placed on a waiting list.

2. The list prioritizes older children.

3. A separate list is kept for those needing wraparound care.

4. Only 8 places are allocated for full daycare.

 

Operational Flexibility:

Tiny Stars Nursery offers a flexible schedule to support families with varied working hours. Management may reserve spots during short-term absences due to illness or holidays.

Attendance and Place Allocation:

1. Families will be contacted if a child is absent for a week without explanation.

2. If no valid reason is given, the place may be reassigned.

3. Once at full capacity, new admissions only occur annually in autumn unless a spot opens up.

Admissions Priorities:

1. Local families are prioritized to support the community.

2. Low-income families needing childcare for education or employment are given priority.

3. Siblings of current nursery children are accommodated when possible.

Fees:
 
  • The nursery acknowledges childcare costs as a concern but emphasizes that maintaining high-quality care requires financial support. Parents and carers are asked to respect the fee policy to sustain standards and resource

    FEE PAYMENT TERMS

    1. Individual payment arrangements will be discussed and agreed upon between the Manager and parents/carers.

    2. If fees are not paid on time, Tiny Stars LTD Nursery will notify parents/carers in writing, requesting prompt payment.

    3. Repeated late payment may result in a formal warning, and potentially, the child’s place being withdrawn.

    4. In exceptional circumstances, the Manager may consider allowing continued attendance.

We are open 48 weeks a year, 10 hours a day.
